Yasmin Ashir is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Master of Medical Science from Tufts University School of Medicine, Physician Assistant Program.
During her education at Tufts, Yasmin was fascinated by her immunology and dermatology courses particularly about the underlying mechanisms of diseases that affect the skin. Eager to immerse herself in the field clinically, she sought out a career in dermatology. Yasmin enjoys providing patient-centered care not only to treat the physical manifestations of their skin conditions, but also make a conscious effort to improve their quality of life.
Yasmin’s interests include medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and emerging dermatologic therapeutics. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
