As a therapist, Michele operates from a client-centered perspective and integrates a variety of techniques in sessions depending on patients’ needs. Her approach is collaborative and direct and she often uses humor to connect. She treats a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma and low self-esteem.
Michele works with client’s on identifying their strengths and what’s already working in their lives as leverage to tackle unproductive thoughts, behaviors and patterns that no longer serve them . Through your work with Michele you’ll cultivate better insight, more productive coping strategies and more effective tools for navigating life’s challenges. Michele aims to empower clients to engage authentically with themselves, others and the world at large.
Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies at Berea College and her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan.
