As a therapist, Michele operates from a client-centred perspective and integrates a variety of techniques in sessions depending on patients’ needs. Her approach is collaborative and direct and she often uses humour to connect. She treats a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma and low self-esteem. She specializes in working with individuals who’ve experienced childhood trauma and intimate partner abuse.
Michele aims to empower clients to engage authentically with themselves, others and the world at large. Her hope is that through working together, you can develop successful strategies to address daily challenges and cope with overwhelming feelings. Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies at Berea College and her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan.
