Mukund Das grew up in New Jersey and completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University with a B.A. in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in 2019.
Since then, he has gained experience working at hospitals in NY, NJ, MD, MA and ME where he managed various acute health issues such as hypertensive urgency, uncontrolled diabetes, heart disease, asthma, COPD, infectious diseases, etc. He values the importance of preventative medicine focused on recognizing early signs of illnesses and managing diseases while they are in the early stages in order to prevent worse outcomes and to improve overall health.
His main interests include preventative medicine as well as chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and heart diseases. He takes great pride in providing excellent patient care and making sure his patients understand their health and treatment.
